this post is largely a test of how the Neocities CLI works for me, but perhaps i should at least tell you why that's even relevant..."

i found my old high school laptop in my closet the other day, complete with taylor swift quotes and the ted cruz "this man ate my son" sticker. it ran like shit because it was running a bloated ass copy of windows 11 (whick sucks to begin with), which led to me upgrading to a macbook.

however, i thought it would be neat to have a machine dedicated to this website. so, after dealing with numerous setbacks and a USB drive with the worst fucking transfer speeds known to man, i slapped a clean copy of Zorin OS on her. the computer performs SO much better with all the bloatware and windows 11 shittiness off of it. my hope is that having a computer solely dedicated to this website will help me want to update it more!
